Knit N Purl does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. Period. We realize that your privacy is very important to you. That makes it important to us, and we protect it in the same way we protect our own.
When you purchase online from Knit N Purl, we will, of course, require your name, address, telephone number and any other information pertinent to delivering our products to you promptly. Please provide us with all information we may need to contact you promptly in case of a question regarding your order.
We will also capture your email address for our newsletter. If, however, you decide at any point that you do not wish to receive our newsletters, there is an easy Opt-Out button on the newsletter which will permanently remove your address from future mailings.
We may at some time make changes to any of our policies. If that should happen, we will post the changes on our web site to notify you.
If you are not comfortable ordering from our web site we are always happy to take your order over the telephone. Just call us as 843.236.6140 and we’ll handle your order personally.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Your satisfaction is our highest priority. We work hard to photograph our products as accurately as possible. Please be aware, however, colors can vary from monitor to monitor, that some yarns will show significant color differences from dye lot to dye lot, and that hand-painted yarns especially can vary greatly in color. By ordering from our web site you acknowledge and agree that colors received may vary from colors as displayed by your monitor.
Most items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and shipment costs are calculated according to weight. It is not our intent that shipping should be a revenue center. If you prefer a different shipment method please note your preference in the “comments” box of the shopping cart and we will contact you promptly with your revised shipping costs.
We strive to maintain a full inventory so that backorders never become an issue. However, some items sell out quickly, and sometimes our suppliers are not able to fill our orders as promptly as they and we might wish. If any items in your order are not available for immediate shipment we will contact you so you may choose to have us send the items in stock and ship the backordered items later, or elect to have us hold and ship the entire order at one time.
Frankly, we don’t like returns and refunds, primarily because they mean you were not happy with what you ordered from us. Patterns, books, needles/hooks and sale-priced items are not returnable under any circumstances. Yarns purchased at full price may be returned for a refund within 30 days of shipping if they are in original condition; i.e., they are still in their original ball bands, do not show evidence of having been “test knit/crocheted”, do not smell of smoke or other odors. We will not refund the cost of return postage.
