A warm rugged looking vest for men, knitted with bulky weight yarn at 14 stitches to 4 inches. Collar can be worn up or down, and there are directions for a hood if you prefer.

Yarn shown is Mountain colors 3 ply wool in color red Tail Hawk.

Sizes- x-small, small, medium, large, x-large, xx-large.
Finished measurements-
Chest- 38 (41, 44, 47, 51, 55) ins.
Length- 25 (26, 27, 28, 29, 30) ins.

Materials- bulky weight yarn:
approx. 650 (700; 785; 875; 985; 1,060) yds.
29 inch circular needles sizes 10 and 9 or sizes required to get the gauge.
For collared vest- 28 (29, 30, 31, 32, 33) inch separating zipper. If making the hood option, the zipper should be 6 inches shorter.
A longer zipper can be shortened by pulling out teeth and folding over.
Stitch holders or scrap yarn.

Gauge- using the larger size needles in stockinette st, 14 sts equal 4 inches.
